We have provided support to sufferers of trauma for over 17 years, including victims of crime, terminally ill, and those receiving end-of-life care.
Combined with our formal education, our personal experience with childhood trauma is foundational to the empathetic approach that supports the results our clients achieve. A product of Ontario’s foster care and adoption system, we have a particular passion for working with adult adoptees who struggle with relationships, abandonment, and reunion.
We draw upon several well-known therapeutic modalities. Our primary lens is the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) as it is proven to be highly effective at overcoming complex trauma.
Above all, we believe that psychotherapy should be client driven. Our program is tailored to meet your needs and can incorporate other modalities such as:
• Psychological First Aid
• Chairwork
• CBT (Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy)
• IFS (Internal Family Systems) • SE (Somatic Experiencing)
• CISM (Crisis Intervention
Stress Management)
• CBP (Component Based
Psychotherapy)
• ACT (Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy)
